Round Table in the University

On the 10th of April 2013 a Round Table, “Experience on prevention drug misuse, HIV/AIDS and crime in Chernihiv schools”, took place in the Chernihiv National Pedagogical University named after Taras Shevchenko. There were present lecturers and students of the University and Law College, representatives of the City and Region departments of education, police department. The participants shared their impressions on conducting Program, CHOICE, in 2012-2013 academic year and generated propositions on future improvement of the CHOICE.

Vadym Strokin demonstrated his documentary on CHOICE in 2012-2013. Vladlena Irkha and Olha Senko delivered an amazing presentation on CHOICE. All of the CHOICE trainers were rewarded with Certificates of Substance Abuse Prevention Trainers issued by the University. As well they received baseball caps with a logo of CHOICE. The round table was led by Professor Liudmyla Zavatska, Head of Social Pedagogy Chair of the University. Substance Abuse Prevention Program, CHOICE, is supported by the US Embassy in Ukraine.
