New Art club in Aratta has been functioning since 2012. It existed before for about 15 years, but at that time there were other teachers, other children… The present Art club is headed by a young and talented artist, student of Shevchenko National Pedagogical University, Yana Kochubey. She is studying herself and is sharing her own skills with her students. She uses different techniques and materials, teaches club member’s to love art the way she loves it. Yana also gives individual lessons as there are children of different ages in the club. One child has to be shown the horizon line, another one needs to learn how a house or a corner has to be painted in order not to “fall down”. Older children want to know graphics, complex patterns composition etc. Yana Alexeyevna manages to do everything easily and naturally, even joyfully and with great wish. She loves children, admires every successful work together with a child and corrects mistakes in a very delicate manner. Art club is one of numerous Aratta clubs. Children attend these activities with great joy because every time they meet a young, beautiful, smiling and benevolent teacher. Children’s works, except for exhibition in our organization, took part in other city exhibitions and attracted a great interest of the visitors.
