A Visit of Tony Budell - Director of the Charitable Organization “British Humanitarian Aid”.

Tony Budell, Director of the Charitable Organization “British Humanitarian Aid” spent two weeks in Ukraine. The host party was Chernihiv Region Charitable Organization "Aratta", Tony is one of the founders of this organization. “Aratta’s” branches in the t.Snovsk and in the village Makoshino, Mena District were also happy to meet such a dear guest.

Tony Budell’s been coming to Chernihiv for the last 22 years, so here he has many friends who are always glad to see him. Tony was pleased to take part in the various events taking place in "Aratta": meetings of the Board of the organization, classes in English and others clubs of “Aratta” Training Center, children's concert dedicated to St. Valentine’s Day.

Tony spent a lot of time with the participants of the day care group of "Aratta". Young people with disabilities visit this group on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays within the framework of the Program “Productive Life!”. The participants were glad to meet with Tony again, and had an opportunity to have an active communication, engagement in creative work, sharing positive impressions and problems.

Also, Tony Budell had the "pleasure" and the courage to get acquainted with the snow-covered roads of Chernihiv region. He succeeded in delivering of humanitarian aid to Snovsk Charitable organization “Aratta”, Makoshino Charitable Organization “Aratta descendants”, Social Centre in Semenivka District, Nizhyn NGO “Red Cross”, Children’s Home in Zamglay and the secondary School in Kolychivka of the Ivankivska Unified Territorial Community.

Special girls from Zamglay Chilren’s Home cordially greeted the guest and showed a bright concert programme.

And in Kolichivka the teachers of the local school sincerely laid the table and shared national traditions of the Pancake Day celebration.

Tony once again felt unbeatable Ukrainian hospitality and kindness and, hopefully, was charged for further fruitful cooperation.
