May 13, 2018. “Aratta” conducted a small project "Family Festival" Beregynya "within the framework of the program "Youth of Chernihiv Town 2017-2020", with the support of the Department for Family, Youth and Sports of Chernihiv Town Council. The event took place on May 13, 2018. Participants of the Festival were the families from NGO "Zhmenya", NGO "DARA", Art studio "Kolibri", NGO "Tvoya sprava", charity "Aratta", "Chernihiv Training and Rehabilitation Center ¹ 2", parents and pupils of the clubs: Theater club - head Dundar I.I., Art club - head Goncharenko S.V. and cared families of "Aratta". Representatives of families presented their Family Tree and opened their talents, learned the skills of painting Easter eggs and were treated with delicious sweets. Family Festival "Beregynya" contributed to: the formation of national consciousness, traditions, respect for family values, the formation of the language culture, the acquisition of skills and practical experience in painting of Easter eggs. Turning ourselves to the spiritual culture of our people we are approaching the forgotten sources, which nourished its spirit, protected the purity of the soul, and were good guards in everyday life. The wise man wrote: “Beregynya/A Symbolic woman-homemaker”, the amulets are our old and kind symbols. Their genetic roots reach the depths of centuries ... Having such wonderful symbols people managed to protect from oblivion our song and duma, our history and generic memory... "
